Abstract

Considering the low per capita consumption of fish in Iran compared to the world average and the possibility of increasing per capita consumption by paying more attention to the health of fish and also the need to pay attention to healthy and organic food, the present study investigates the factors affecting the willingness to pay of people for shopping Healthy farmed salmon was distributed among households in Tehran in 1401. The number of samples examined in the current study was 398 people, and to achieve the desired goal of this research, the order logit model was used. Examining the results showed a positive and significant effect of variables such as gender, education, occupation, income level, level of awareness, number of consumption times per week and quality index. On the other hand, the trust index variable will also have a negative and significant effect on the willingness to pay of community members. This result shows the importance of paying attention to creating culture about organic and healthy products at the community level, as well as building trust among the consumers of these products. It is also possible to improve the demand and thus the general health of the society by promoting the mentality of quality among the consumers of food products from its price among other members of the society.
